POLICE SEEK SUSPECT
IN AGGRAVATED ROBBERY

Crime Stoppers of El Paso is assisting detectives from the Police Department’s Crimes Against Persons unit in identifying and locating a man who used a handgun to rob an Eastside restaurant, making this the “Crime of the Week.”
On Tuesday night, April 14th, about 8:00 P.M., a lone man walked into the Subway store located at 5505 Montana Avenue.  The subject ordered a sandwich and walked up to the cash register to pay.  While he was being charged, he lifted up his shirt to show the employees that he had a black handgun.  He then demanded money from the register.  When the subject left the restaurant, he was seen walking westbound on Montana.

The suspect is described as an Anglo male, 22 years old, 5-feet 10-inches tall, 180 pounds, with brown hair, hazel eyes, long sideburns, a goatee but no mustache.  He was wearing a gray baseball cap, black t-shirt, dark blue jacket, light colored jeans, and black shoes.
