CRIME OF THE WEEK POLICE SEEK SUSPECTS Crime Stoppers of El Paso is assisting officers from the Police Department’s Pebble Hills Regional Command Center in identifying persons who committed acts of Criminal Mischief against several eastside businesses, making this the “Crime of the Week.” In the early morning hours on Monday, April 21st, approximately 2:00 A.M., the suspects smashed doors and broke out four picture windows, apparently with rocks and perhaps a baseball bat, at Putt-Putt Golf & Games, 8836 Montana. The suspects may have also done similar damage on the same night at Popeye’s Chicken, next door. The parking lots of these stores are often used by patrons of nearby bars, and the time of the incidents suggests that perhaps bar patrons were in the area and possibly saw this criminal mischief and the person or persons who committed it. The amount of damage done to both business is in excess of $5,000 and officers would certainly appreciate information from the public about the identities of the persons involved or descriptions of the vehicles they may have been in. If you have any information at all about the identity and location of this subject, call Crime Stoppers of El Paso immediately at 566-TIPS (8477) or submit your tip by clicking on the link below. You will remain anonymous and, if your tip leads to an arrest, you may earn a cash reward up to $1,000. Back to Crime of the Week page
