They are NOT police officers, they do not investigate tips, and they are not involved with making arrests. Our staff and volunteers simply work with law enforcement to help them publicize cases, connect with the media to publicize the selected cases, and process the tips from callers who call into the 24 hour/7 days a week 566-TIPS (8477) tip line.
