Welcome to Crime Stoppers of El Paso. We are a non-profit organization that works together with the community, law enforcement, and the media to solve crimes.
Our mission is to carry out a community offensive against crime by motivating the public to report information about any criminal activity through our anonymous crime-reporting platform and rewarding citizens monetarily for their cooperation.
Since 1978, we have been a part of keeping El Paso one of the safest cities in the country. Throughout those years, we have built extensive relationships with local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies by supporting their initiatives to bring wanted fugitives to justice and clear unsolved cases.
Tips have led to 4,711 arrests, 6,534 cleared cases, recovered over $4.5 million in property, and taken over $48 million in narcotics off the streets. Impressive! Tipsters have also received over $1.2 million in rewards. The most important aspect of our organization is bringing closure to the victims of these crimes.
Crime Stoppers of El Paso is a certified Crime Stoppers program in Texas and was the first to form in Texas and the second chapter nationally and internationally. The Texas Government Code (414.008) protects the information we receive from tipsters and assures the confidentiality of those records.
To report any illegal activity or wanted suspects, please call 915-566-8477 (TIPS) 24/7. You can submit information directly through our homepage or by downloading the P3 Tips app available in the App Store or Google Play.
Most Wanted
Every week, we compile and distribute our Most Wanted fugitive list at the request of our law enforcement partners. In 2021, we featured 346 wanted fugitives. Through tips, police fieldwork, and self-surrenders, 174 wanted suspects were arrested.
Crime of the Week
The Crime of the Week spotlights an unsolved case from one of our law enforcement partners that is distributed and publicized through local news media and our social media profiles. Our Crime of the Week has helped solve homicides, aggravated robberies, identity thefts, and much more with the help of tips submitted by the public.
Campus Crime Stoppers
Our organization partners with schools throughout the area. Through our Campus Crime Stoppers Program, students can report illegal activity happening on their school campus without fear of retaliation. Students may also qualify for a cash reward if their tip leads to an arrest or disciplinary action.
We Can't Do This Alone!
Crime Stoppers of El Paso relies on both the information and the generosity of the community. Without the public’s help, our program would not be as effective as it is. To help us continue the fight against crime, please visit our Support Us page to make your tax-deductible donation.
